Virtual reality

The virtual reality (VR) is a technology that allows the creation of an environment composed of 3D synthetic images that provide the user the feeling of being immersed in a real world. To interact with this virtual universe, the user has to wear equipment designed for this purpose, including a head-mounted display and data gloves or controllers.

VR can mobilize all the user’s senses: vision, touch, hearing, even smell and taste.

Note: Virtual reality and augmented reality are two distinct technologies.
