According to the latest publication of CEFRIO which annually lists the digital habits of Quebecers, 53% of people, 55 to 64 years old, have both a smartphone and a tablet!
They are a little less “equipped” than the 34 to 54 age group, of which 76% have a smart phone and 63% a tablet – and they represent the generation with the most members having both devices.
The preference of the 18 to 34 year olds goes towards the smartphone, with 88% having one, compared to 46% owning a tablet; while the opposite is true for people aged 65 and over, who are more likely to have a tablet (45%) than a smartphone (31%).
